Global Seminar Series: September 20, 2023            

The 5th Working Time Society Global Seminar – “Handling Working, Training, Eating and Sleeping at Different Hours” – was held on September 20th, 2023 6:00pm CET.

This seminar featured primarily the work of Early Career Researchers. It was organized by Claudia Moreno, Frida Fischer, and Elaine Marqueze and hosted by the WTS in collaboration with the University of São Paulo, Catholic University of Santos, and Federal University of Uberlandia.

Speakers were:

Lillian Skeiky: Sleep problems during training for a high-risk occupation

Izabela Sampaio: Fatigue and sleepiness perception among Brazilian airline pilots

Ignacio Stevan: Influence of light and physical activity on sleep among dancers

Luciana Nogueira: The Effect of Exogenous Melatonin on Eating Habits of Female Night Workers with Excessive Weight

Luisa Marot: Meal timing variability of rotating shift workers throughout a complete shift cycle and its effects on total dietary intake
