Becoming a member of the Working Time Society

  1. Join or renew your membership outside of a symposium:
    • 60 Euro … regular members
    • 30 Euro … students and members from low- to middle-income countries
  2. Register for the next International Symposium on Shiftwork and Working Time, which automatically includes society membership

The WTS strives to be supportive and inclusive. If the membership fee is cost prohibitive of your participation, please contact the WTS treasurer with a request to waive or reduce the fee, along with a statement regarding your areas of interest and reason for wanting to join the society. This will be reviewed during the next board meeting.

If a membership application is rejected by the WTS Board, the fee is refunded.

Membership advantages:

  • Reduced fees for participating in symposia
  • Newsletter sent by email
  • Right to ask questions via mailing list in general and to the board
  • Access to the members only pages of the website – www.workingtime.org
  • Eligibility for trainee and other scholarships and awards
  • A small support for visiting the conference if necessary (please contact the Finance Committee).

If a membership is cancelled within 3 months, the money is refunded. Thereafter no refunds are given. Members can end their membership at any time.
